This is just an assumption from years of using emulators on various devices and reading around. As far as I can tell, you shouldn't need the emunand stuff unless you're planning to screw with the nand and don't want to risk bricking it, or if you're planning to install a ton of Wiiware and you don't want to use or have a suitable SD card.Īs to the pack as a whole, I can't really help as I'm not really a fan of all-in-one packs and prefer to just install the bits I need myself I currently use Wiiflow and plan to install some emulators and a couple of handy plugins this weekend when I get some new batteries to hold me over until my charging dock gets here.ĭo keep in mind that a lot of the emulators included in that don't seem to be particularly reliable or stable DS and PSX particularly, and I think N64 had some bugs too, not to mention emulation is taxing on the hardware and the Wii isn't exactly packing a lot of heat, though I haven't personally tested them myself. Nand = onboard Wii memory, emunand = fake onboard memory stored on USB drive (or SD card, but that sort of defeats the point). Preface: I'm a rather new Wii owner, so my understanding of everything isn't absolute If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me.
